St. Andrews Swim Club recently became USA Certified! This will allow all of our current and future swimmers to be able to compete in USA Sanctioned Swim Meets. We will be attending our first meet April 28th in Charlotte at Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center.
“Taylor is very excited to swim in a meet."-Susan Johnson, parent of SASC swimmer.
“This will mean a lot more opportunity for young swimmers in the community. Also with the High School starting a swim team next year this can be a great augmentation for that program.”-Taylor Cooper, Head Coach.
We will be expanding our program this summer! We will have both summer league and long course this year. Summer League will be open to swimmers ages 5 through 18 who want to learn what competitive swimming is all about.
Our USA Certified club will be participating in Open Water events this spring as well as long course meets this summer, registration for the Spring/Summer session is currently open.
We also offer lessons for all ages and skill levels, Masters Swimming for adults and will be having Swim Camps in June and July .

About St. Andrews Swim Club:
When Taylor Cooper took over the head coaching position of St Andrews University in the spring of 2016, he also wanted to bring a more developed program to the community. With over 30 years of USA Swimming experience Taylor has a vast knowledge of the workings of an age group club. He has sought out some of the best swimmers and instructors at St Andrews and is creating a program that has strong relations with the school.
Our coaches have not only knowledge of the sport, but most are still competing as well which allows for a unique understanding of what swimmers go through.
We are a coach owned program which provides the highest level of instruction for the unique sport of swimming. We pride ourselves to be able to bring the highest quality of instruction in the area!
