St Andrews Swim Club will be having swim camps for all those who would like to see what competitive swimming is all about! Swim Camp will be 3 days a week for 2 weeks August 22nd-24th and 29th-31st. The focus will be on developing the four strokes, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly as well as learning how to be on a swim team.
St Andrews Swim Team coaches are the best in the area and will design workouts that will enable swimmers to achieve more then they though possible. This past year we have had our swimmers achieve best times and learn a positive sense of self worth. The swim team strives to provide the most positive experiences and help our swimmers be more prepared for what ever they take on.
Swimming is a low-impact sport that provides more resistance than out of water exercises with many other health benefits! T he Masters group is good for those with basic knowledge of swimming who would like to work out with a coach.
Scotland High school will be having a new swim team this year and SASC wants to reach out to all those who may be interested in trying out to come and join our camp to be prepared for what high school swimming will be like. Swimming is one of the few sports that the more you do, the more effort you put in the more it will reflect in your ability. Get a jump start on high school season and begin the training now! Registration for fall camp is now open at coopswimllc.com.
Bonus the first 20 swimmers who sign up will receive a St Andrews Swim Club bag!
St Andrews Swim Club is not associated with the university. It is a separate business run by Head Coach Taylor Cooper and staff. Please see coopswimllc.com for more information on the program.
